We are seeking an Audiologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
The Veteran files the claim before the appointment, and all their medical records are uploaded into a computer portal for review. You will conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the portal. This forms the medical evidence used by the VA to decide the veteran’s benefits.
Note: Audiologists will NOT prescribe medical treatments or devices.
This position reviews and assesses approximately 3-6 Veterans per day.
Schedule: 3 days/week
This is an IN-PERSON position offering 1 to 1.5 hours per patient. No evenings, no on-call, no weekends, and no hearing aid sales.
