Job summary

HearingLife is seeking a full-time Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist for our Crown Point, IN clinic. The role involves comprehensive hearing care, patient education, and growing a new clinic while delivering excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

  • Active Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist license, or eligibility to obtain licensure per state requirements.
  • Experience generating new patients and patient referral networks.
  • Strong desire to work with the local community.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat hearing loss following clinical and state standards.
  • Conduct hearing assessments and fittings, educate patients on device use and care.
  • Provide aftercare including troubleshooting and maintenance of devices.
  • Advise patients on options, payments, and third-party processes in compliance with regulations.
  • Help grow the clinic and achieve financial goals.
  • Engage with the community through health fairs and relationships with physicians.
  • Collaborate with care coordinators and leadership to meet performance targets.
  • Support telehealth and remote care initiatives, including remote tests and coaching.
  • Maintain licensure and continue education.
  • Operate audiometric equipment and interpret test results.
  • Clearly communicate test outcomes and treatment plans to patients.

HearingLife is seeking a full-time Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to join our in-office clinical team for our newest clinic in Crown Point, IN. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive hearing healthcare services while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Additionally this person will be responsible for helping the clinic grow and establish this new clinic. Candidates must be licensed in accordance with state requirements.

Compensation
  • 65k-90k based on license type and credentials + Uncapped Commission
  • Greenfield Commission plan (in addition to the normal HearingLife Commission plan!)

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat hearing loss in accordance with clinical and state licensing standards
  • Conduct hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, and patient education on device use and care
  • Provide quality aftercare services including troubleshooting, repairs, and hearing aid maintenance
  • Counsel patients on hearing aid and accessory options, including payment methods and third-party payor processes in compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Achieve clinic growth goals while maintaining ethical clinical and sales practices
  • Participate in community outreach activities, including health fairs and physician relationship development
  • Collaborate with Patient Care Coordinators and clinic leadership to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance goals
  • Support telehealth and remote care initiatives, including remote hearing tests and patient coaching
  • Maintain required continuing education and licensure compliance
  • Operate audiometric equipment and accurately interpret test results
  • Clearly communicate test outcomes and recommended treatment plans to patients in an easy-to-understand manner
