Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System in New York seeks an audiologist to evaluate hearing across all ages, including newborns, children and adults, and to perform ABR, OAE, auditory processing and amplification evaluation.

The position includes supervision of students, involvement in quality improvement, equipment maintenance, and making appropriate referrals. A NY state license in Audiology (CCC-A) and a Doctoral/Clinical Doctorate are required.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in audiology is required.
  • NY State license in Audiology (CCC-A) required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience or AU.D. externship.

Responsibilities

  • Performs audiologic evaluations for newborns, children, adults and difficult-to-test patients.
  • Performs hearing aid evaluations and hearing aid checks.
  • Performs tonal ABR and auto-neurologic ABR.
  • Performs ENG evaluation.
  • Provides direct student supervision.
  • Participates in Quality Improvement program.
  • Participates in equipment maintenance.
  • Makes appropriate referrals.

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $44.0967 - $50.9152 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
