Job summary

HearingLife in Madison, WI is seeking an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to join our team. You will conduct hearing tests, fit hearing aids, educate patients, and support aftercare in a patient‑centered setting.

We offer a base salary of 55k–90k plus uncapped commission, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, HSA, 401K with match, tuition reimbursement, PTO and paid holidays.

Qualifications

  • Active Hearing Aid Dispensing License or Audiology License in accordance with state requirements.
  • 2+ years Hearing Aid sales experience or 2 years equivalent in industry training under a licensed HIS or AuD.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, educate and train hearing aid users of best practices.
  • Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices, including troubleshooting, repairs, earmolds cleaning.
  • Achieve practice growth with a strong mindset on sales and key business metrics while maintaining ethical practice standards.
  • Local community outreach including health fairs and developing physician relationships. Represent HearingLife as an advocate to making a life changing difference.
  • Counsel patients on the purchase of their hearing aids, devices, and accessories. Maintain a current understanding of third-party payors and various payment methods in accordance with federal and state laws.

Pay: Base Salary 55k-90k base + Uncapped Commission. Relocation available.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, educate and train hearing aid users of best practices.
  • Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices, including troubleshooting, repairs, earmolds cleaning.
  • Achieve practice growth with a strong mindset on sales and key business metrics while maintaining ethical practice standards.
  • Local community outreach including health fairs and developing physician relationships. Represent HearingLife as an advocate to making a life changing difference.
  • Counsel patients on the purchase of their hearing aids, devices, and accessories. Maintain a current understanding of third-party payors and various payment methods in accordance with federal and state laws.
  • Understand and meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly clinical finance targets working closely with your PCC and Manager to achieve clinics financial KPIs.
  • Support Telehealth initiatives (Remote Care) to expand patient care and product portfolio including conducting hearing tests, coaching and educating patients on hearing aid devices.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements based on state requirements.
  • Ability to operate audiometric equipment and interpret results.
  • Ability to communicate test results and propose treatment in a manner easily understood by patients.
  • All other duties as assigned.
