Job summary

Mercy Health in Lima, OH, is seeking a licensed audiologist to diagnose, treat, and manage hearing and balance disorders. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, fit and maintain hearing devices, and collaborate with ENT, speech-language pathologists, and other professionals to develop care plans.

The role includes patient education, documentation, and participation in community hearing health events. Licensing and ASHA/ABA preferences apply, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an audiologist in the state of practice (required).
• ASHA or ABA certification preferred.
• MS in Audiology (required). AuD preferred.
• Previous clinical experience in audiology (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs audiological assessments to assess hearing and balance.
• Fits, programs, and maintains hearing devices and discusses costs with patients.
• Conducts evaluations for balance disorders and provides interventions.
• Collaborates with otolaryngologists, speech-language pathologists, and others to plan care.
• Educates patients and families about hearing and balance disorders and options.
• Maintains accurate patient records in line with regulations.
• Participates in screenings, seminars, and community hearing health events.
• May provide additional audiology services as needed, including UPHN/UNHS when applicable.
