Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC, seeks a Clinical Audiologist to evaluate hearing function, plan habilitative programs, and provide evidence-based care for diverse patient populations.

You will independently manage a clinical caseload, perform diagnostic tests, document outcomes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care while keeping patient information confidential.

Qualifications

• Education requirements: Doctorate in Audiology or Master's in Audiology.
• No experience required; 4th year AuD externship/residency considered relevant.
• Licensure: NC licensure as an Audiologist and CCC in Audiology from ASHA or ABOA, or temporary license for 4th-year audiologists; full license required after completion.

Responsibilities

• Independently maintains a clinical caseload in designated clinical area.
• Provides evidence-based evaluation and treatment to diverse patient populations.
• Completes documentation accurately and within the designated timeframe.
• Works collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote best care.
• Participates in peer review and performance improvement initiatives.
• Keeps Clinical Coordinator informed of activities and accomplishments.
