Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking a licensed Audiologist for a full-time, mobile role serving residents in nursing homes and long-term care facilities in the Toledo area. The position offers a 4-day workweek with earning potential of 90K+ per year and a sign-on bonus up to $8,000 (pro-rated).

Responsibilities include comprehensive diagnostic audiology, hearing aid evaluations and dispensing, cerumen management where allowed, and diligent documentation in our EMR system.

Qualifications

  • Audiology background with proficiency in diagnosis and management of hearing disorders.
  • Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with EMR and healthcare software; quick learner.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive examinations and auditory evaluations.
  • Perform hearing aid evaluations, selections, and adjustments.
  • Dispense and adjust hearing aids.
  • Perform cerumen management where allowed by state rules.
  • Complete documentation in our EMR system.

HealthDrive is seeking an Audiologist to join our team, full-time (4 days/week)

Full-Time (4 Days/week) HealthDrive Audiologists have opportunity for 90K + per year AND the flexible stability everyone dreams of for their career.

*Sign-on Bonus offered up to $8,000 (pro-rated based on number of days)

Our Audiologists are positioned to provide the utmost in patient–centered care, while receiving white- glove concierge support from our seasoned Audiologist provider support team, based in Framingham, Massachusetts.

As an Audiologist with HealthDrive, we hand you a practice. From there, you will provide comprehensive diagnostic audiological examinations, hearing aid evaluations, dispensing and adjustments of new hearing aids, to the residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities in a mobile fashion. As you partner with our team, you will guide us on your desired number of patients per day to maximize your income or achieve your perfect work/ life balance! Current opportunities in the Toledo and southern surrounding, OH areas.

Responsibilities

Role Overview & Responsibilities for Audiologists:

  • Conduct comprehensive examinations, evaluations, and auditory consultation
  • Traditional daily patient care will include comprehensive diagnostic audiological examinations, hearing aid evaluations, hearing aid selections, and repair
  • Dispense and adjust new hearing aids
  • Perform cerumen management, where allowed by state professional regulations
  • Complete required patient and clinical documentation in our proprietary electronic medical record system
Qualifications

Qualifications:

    • Audiology background with proficiency in the assessment, treatment, management, and evaluation of hearing disorders
    • Ability to work independently on a daily basis
    • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • Ability to use EMR, text, email, the internet, and to learn other healthcare related software
    • Self-starter attitude with the desire to deliver quality, thoughtful, and attentive care

Physical Requirements for Audiologist:

  • Ability to stand, to bend, and to lift
  • Ability to transport mobile audiology equipment (maximum of 15 lbs.)
  • May be occasionally required to transport patients in wheelchairs

Education & Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Audiology
  • Current state professional license
  • Valid driver’s license

Travel:

This is a mobile position. Daily travel is based on the patient care requirements for the specified service area; your practice. A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive significant distances on occasion is required.
