Description
  1. Establish rapport with and gather history from patients; conduct audiometric testing; counsel patients; and make recommendations for hearing aids.
  2. Make ear impressions, ear molds, and order instruments.
  3. Program hearing aids using a computer.
  4. Conduct diagnostic testing, vestibular evaluation, and hearing aid fitting/dispensing.
  5. Fit hearing aids and assist patients with adjustments, questions, or problems.
  6. Maintain documentation and patient files.
  7. Perform other duties such as OAE, VNG/ENG, Tympanometry, and BP testing.
