Spotify is seeking an Associate Manager, Audiobook Licensing & Author Partnerships to expand our catalog and build meaningful relationships with independent authors, hybrid publishers, and distributors. You will negotiate licensing deals, structure partnerships, and collaborate with product, editorial, growth, and finance teams to scale our audiobook business.

In this role you will manage multiple partnerships across time zones, travel when needed, and advocate for creators while shaping catalog

Competenze

• 3+ years in publishing, digital media, business development, content licensing, or related field.
• Experience negotiating licensing, distribution, or partnerships.
• Strong understanding of independent publishing ecosystem including indie authors and hybrid publishers.
• Ability to travel and coordinate across multiple time zones.

• Identify and evaluate audiobook catalogs from independent authors, hybrid publishers, and distributors.
• Negotiate audiobook licensing agreements and commercial partnerships.
• Build trusted relationships with a diverse portfolio of publishers and authors.

• Use market insights and data to inform acquisition strategies and opportunities.
