Cornell University in Midtown, NYC is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to provide A/V and event coordination support for centrally supported classrooms, auditoriums, and conference rooms. You will set up and operate multimedia equipment for on-site events, coordinate with outside providers, and assist with live or on-demand e-learning materials, including basic post-production.

Relevant educational background can be substituted for experience.
Knowledge of computer network operations is desired.
Excellent problem solving skills and prepared last minute solutions to real time issues is desired.
This position requires full mobility and the ability to regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds; Position requires videotaping of lessons or procedures occasionally in gross anatomy involving cadavers and working within patient care areas; Ability to work off-hours and weekends for events, as well as travel between office locations within NYC
