We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio-Visual Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of both hardware and software components, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

1. Install and configure audio-visual systems, including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
2. Perform regular maintenance and inspections on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
3. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to audio-visual systems.
4. Collaborate with clients and team members to assess AV needs for events or installations.
5. Manage cabling and low voltage wiring for AV setups, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
6. Provide field service support for AV equipment in various locations.
7. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service requests.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Proficient in cabling techniques and electrical systems related to audio-visual technology.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform hands-on repairs and installations.
3. Experience with software troubleshooting for AV systems.
4. Familiarity with computer hardware components relevant to audio-visual applications.
5. Knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) practices is a plus.
