We are hiring immediately for on call AUDIO VISUAL TECHNICIAN positions.

Location: Pfizer Hudson Yards - 66 Hudson Boulevard E, New York, NY 10001. Note: online applications accepted only.

Requirement: No experience necessary. Willing to train!

Job Summary

Ensures all audio visual requirements requested by clients are met. Interfaces with various types of audio visual, communication, and presentation technology. Maintains positive customer relationships and responds promptly to inquiries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Reviews customer requests and provides equipment/assistance as needed.
• Supports problem escalation and issue resolution.
• Provides technical assistance for meetings and events.
• Follows SOPs for audio-visual support.
• Performs preventative maintenance and reports findings.
• Changes projectors, lamps, and cabling as needed.
• Ensures customers are comfortable with equipment operation.
• Educates staff and customers on AV equipment basics.
• Maintains metrics on equipment inventory and repairs.
• Communicates with team and partners.
• Assists with room setups and breakdowns.
• Keeps storerooms organized.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least one year supporting audio visual for events.
• Proficient in computer skills and office technology.
• Excellent communication skills.
