Akkodis is seeking an AV and Collaboration Support Specialist to join our onsite team in Wilmington, Delaware. The role focuses on multi-vendor collaboration systems, installing, configuring, and maintaining spaces for large enterprise environments on an 18-month project.

Key duties include proactive system checks, incident resolution, and coordination with clients, executives, vendors, and staff. The position requires strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• QSC Audio DSP, control systems and camera systems troubleshooting experience.
• Networked audio with Dante networks experience.
• Cisco CE systems operation and maintenance knowledge.
• Live event production including video switching and audio mixing.
• Microsoft Teams and Teams Room administration experience.
• Strong troubleshooting of large collaboration systems and related DSP controls.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of new collaboration spaces
• Ensure all collaboration spaces are in working order through regular preventative checks and proactive resolution
• Provide customer service, requirements gathering, task execution and crisis escalation.
• Apply strong problem-solving to assess issues and determine actions under time constraints
• Maintain professionalism with clients including executives, vendors and staff; perform tasks with minimal supervision
• Identify and recommend improvement opportunities aligned with client needs
• Off-hour work may be required during maintenance windows

Job description

The AV and Collaboration Support Specialist works in an environment with multi-vendor technologies and large enterprise deployments, working with a team to deliver outstanding collaborative solutions and address critical technology challenges in the environment. The Support Specialist demonstrates the right attitude and aptitude to learn new technologies and expand upon core knowledge while working in a fast-paced growing company. This role will sit onsite in Wilmington Delaware. This is a 18 month project

Rate Range: $40/hour to $55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Coordinate and assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of new collaboration spaces
• Ensure that all collaboration spaces, including existing systems, are in working order through regular preventative room checks and proactive resolution of issues
• Professional experience to include customer service, requirements gathering, task execution, problem solving, sound judgment around crisis escalation
• Use strong problem-solving skills to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action under time constraints.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients, including executives, vendors and staff. Perform tasks with minimal or no supervision.
• Identify and recommend improvement opportunities that are consistent with client needs.
• Off-hour work may be required during maintenance windows.

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)

• QSC Audio DSP, Control Systems, and Camera Systems
• Networked Audio, specifically Dante networks
• Cisco CE systems operation and maintenance
• Live event production including video switching and audio mixing
• Microsoft Teams and Teams Room administration and client applications
• Significant experience troubleshooting issues with large collaboration systems including Control System and Audio DSP troubleshooting and programming
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required as well as listening and presentation skills
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with communications technologies with a focus on maintenance and Tier 2 support
