Job summary

LINX Multimedia in Denver, CO, is seeking an Audio Visual Project Engineer to lead design-to-implementation of complex commercial AV systems. You will own design intent, manage multiple projects, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and ensure projects meet schedule and budget while maintaining LINX standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in professional audio/video integration or a construction-related field.
• AVIXA CTS certification is required.
• Intermediate to advanced CAD modeling; AutoCAD preferred.
• Experience with Bluebeam and creating markups.
• Strong understanding of AV signal flow and design.
• Experience installing commercial-grade AV systems.
• Ability to read construction drawings and create shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Own design intent across assigned projects; align stakeholders as needs evolve.
• Lead technical issues and anticipate risks, preventing field calls.
• Manage timelines and milestones for multiple concurrent projects.
• Create drawing submittals for AV packages including heat and power calculations.
• Translate designs into complete, constructable drawings and review data sheets.
• Generate RFIs and Change Orders as required.
• Maintain LINX CAD/drafting standards and improve where needed.
• Perform site walks and conduct customer meetings.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for procurement and resources.
• Provide technical oversight during installation, configuration, and calibration.
• Troubleshoot complex AV issues and stay current with industry trends.
