Responsibilities

• Create and manage the project plan and implementation schedule.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and provide weekly status reports.
• Ensure quality control and audits; manage change orders and trainings.

Audio Visual Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The AV Project Manager plans, coordinates, implements and finalizes projects according to specifications and deadlines.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for overseeing the efforts of all project activities including assigned resources and budget management and escalating any issues that could impact profitability
• Reviews all project documents including but not limited to drawings, specifications, contracts, scope of work and construction schedules to ensure accuracy and the success of the project
• Is the subject matter expert regarding assigned project requirements and objectives
• Creates and manages the project plan and implementation schedule
• Troubleshoots and engages the appropriate subject matter experts regarding project-related issues
• Facilitates all aspects of communication regarding the project, starting with internal kick-off meetings with key stakeholders
• Liaises with Resource Manager to schedule personnel for all phases of project execution, from Submittal to Close-out
• Coordinates activities and communications with external stakeholders such as contractors, construction managers, clients, etc. as needed and required
• Provides weekly project status reports to key project points of contact
• Responsible for Quality Control and audits
• Proactively manages change control and the change order process
• Coordinates and provides any client trainings needed
• Facilitates and coordinates turnover and onboarding of client with service department at the conclusion of the project
• Other duties as assigned and required

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Fundamental understanding of Audio-visual system functionality, installation processes and techniques
• The ability to supervise and manage both tasks and personnel concurrently to meet project objectives
• Proficient with MS360 applications, specifically MS Office and Project
• Proficient with Adobe Acrobat and AutoCAD viewing or markup utilities
• Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
