Job summary

Zenith Systems is seeking an Audio Video Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for audiovisual projects, ensuring proposals meet client requirements and budgets.

The candidate should have a strong background in construction estimating, service and installation of AV systems, and knowledge of video conferencing systems, with attention to detail and the ability to work across multiple sites in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably audiovisual or low-voltage.
• Strong knowledge of audio/video systems design and implementation.
• Proficiency with Procore and PlanGrid preferred; willingness to learn is essential.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret bid documents, schematics, blueprints, and specifications to understand project scope.
• Review Scope of Work to ensure completeness of estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and management to develop cost estimates and proposals.
• Research suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and quotes.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
