Ford Motor Company in Dearborn is seeking a Senior Audio Systems Engineer to lead the development and delivery of best-in-class in-vehicle audio. You will coordinate with Ford audio component engineers and cross-functional teams to align requirements and deliver a cohesive listening experience.

You will guide audio system development from concept through validation, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to meet performance, quality, and timing objectives. Hybrid onsite work is required.

Qualifikationen

• Lead structured problem resolution for DEMS, VOCF, and FCPA audit issues using 8D disciplines.
• Translate customer and program needs into technical direction for audio systems.
• Experience with design reviews, issue tracking, and documentation of performance goals.

Aufgaben

• Lead development and delivery of best-in-class audio performance for in-vehicle systems.
• Coordinate with Ford teams and suppliers to meet requirements, timing, and cost targets.
• Flash DSPs via CAN tools and analyze CAN logs to support integration and troubleshooting.
• Manage prototypes and DV testing across multiple program phases and milestones.
• Drive vehicle-level DV, thermal and acoustic validation, and gap closure actions.
