HP’s Audio Systems Team delivers audio quality for Poly headsets, speakerphones, video systems and HP laptops. You will design and debug acoustics, integrate hardware and DSP with prototypes, and help shape the architecture and roadmap for audio technology across products.

The role requires a 4+ year track record in audio development, strong acoustics background, and experience with Bluetooth/DECT audio, echo control and ML-based noise filtering. Based in Scotts Valley, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.
• A Master's degree in relevant engineering is a plus.
• 4+ years of relevant industry experience in audio features, telephony/audio/wireless audio products.
• Demonstrated creativity in developing innovative audio-centric products or solutions.
• Strong background in acoustics, analog, digital/DSP, audio system design.

Responsabilités

• Design, execute and debug hardware acoustics and audio architecture solutions for defined products.
• Collaborate with audio systems team, contractors, HP resources to integrate hardware and audio tech into prototypes and final product.
• Provide insight into audio architecture direction and component trends.
• Contribute to audio systems specifications, strategy and roadmaps.
• Assist product development in full integration of audio architecture into in-flight products and programs.
• Create schedules and planning as required.
