InvestigateWest is seeking an Audience Engagement Manager to strengthen ties with communities across three states. You’ll lead our web and social distribution, grow our newsletter program, and help develop engaging content that makes investigations accessible.

You’ll collaborate with newsroom leaders and partners to expand reach and impact. You’ll apply strong editorial judgment, comfort with analytics (GA4, email, social), and a collaborative mindset to build partnerships and nurture reader

Qualifications

• Experience in audience engagement or newsletter strategy.
• Strong writing, editing, and editorial judgment.
• Familiarity with analytics (GA4) for decision making.
• Experience building partnerships and community events or programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead newsletter program and manage social channels.
• Oversee SEO, discovery strategy, and distribution partnerships.
• Track web and social performance and measure impact.
