Job summary

Audi Huntsville / Hiley Automotive Group seeks an energetic Audi Service Porter to support the service drive and lot. You are the first and last person customers see; your energy and attention to detail set the tone for the visit.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, moving vehicles, assisting with shuttle service, maintaining a clean drive, documenting transport damages, and helping our technicians with FRFT quality checks, safety, and smooth curb appeal.

Responsibilities

• Drive Operations: Greet customers with high energy, install interior protection, park and retrieve vehicles and loaners.
• Facility Maintenance: Keep the drive area spotless, sweep and manage spills to reduce hazards.
• Customer Support: Provide shuttle rides within a 25-mile range; maintain coffee bar and lounge cleanliness.
• Inventory Management: Organize lot, keep inventory tidy, replenish fluids as needed.
• PDI & Inspection: Remove vehicle covers and inspect for transport damage, report issues with photos.
• Quality Control: Assist technicians with extended test drives to verify repairs.
• General Support: Perform tasks assigned by Service or Sales leadership to maintain display standards.

Job Title: Audi Service Porter

Location: Audi Huntsville / Hiley Automotive Group

Role Overview

Maintain the flow and professional appearance of the Service Drive and lot. Your primary focus is safety, efficiency, and customer experience. You are the first and last person many customers see; your energy and attention to detail are critical.

Schedule (39.5 hours/week)

• Monday - Thursday: 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM (Flexibility to request off one weekday other than Friday)
• Friday: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Saturday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Responsibilities

• Drive Operations: Greet customers immediately with high energy. Install interior protection (seat covers/mats) in every vehicle. Park and retrieve customer vehicles and loaners efficiently. Drive vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Facility Maintenance: Keep the drive spotless. Sweep, squeegee, and pick up trash. Use pig mats to immediately clear oil or coolant leaks to eliminate safety hazards.
• Customer Support: Provide shuttle rides as needed within a 25-mile range. Ensure the coffee bar and lounge are stocked, wiped down, and professional at all times.
• Inventory Management: Walk the lot daily to organize out-of-place vehicles and remove trash. Keep sales inventory straightened and professional. Replenish vehicle fluids and replace batteries when necessary.
• PDI & Inspection: Remove new vehicle covers. Conduct a thorough inspection for transport damage. If an issue is found, take photos with the cover still in the frame and report it immediately.
• Quality Control: Perform extended test drives for technicians to verify repairs on intermittent issues or major jobs. This is a critical step in our Fixed Right First Time (FRFT) process.
• General Support: Complete various tasks as assigned by Service or Sales leadership to maintain dealership display standards.
