Job description

We are looking for a Service Technician to join our growing team!

The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and Audi/VW Certification is preferred but not required. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing necessary repairs.

Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities:

1. Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to dealership standards.
2. Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
3. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
4. Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services needed and provide estimates for repairs.
5. Perform video Multi Point Inspections directly for customers.
6. Execute repairs under warranty following manufacturer specifications.

Automotive Service Technician Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of service technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification or Audi/VW Certification preferred.
• B-level qualifications including diagnostics, electrical, and engine repair.
• Dexterity and steady hand skills, excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with teammates.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
