Job summary

Cox Automotive in Fresno, CA is hiring a Driver I - Non-DOT to safely move, stage, and park vehicles on Auction property and drive them to lots and customer businesses. Shifts are Day, with a Wed 10am–3:30pm, Thu 8am–2:30pm, Fri 9am–12:30pm schedule; on-site work only.

A valid driver’s license is required. This role offers on-site work, safety training, and potential incentives, with benefits like health coverage and a 401(k) plan. Voluntary overtime may apply based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
• Ability to walk long distances.
• Frequent entry/exit of vehicles.
• Ability to lift 1–15 pounds.
• Color vision and depth perception required.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through auction lanes safely on sale days.
• Transport vehicles to and from designated areas and customer locations.
• Line up and park vehicles in correct order as directed.
• Assist with basic vehicle operation (inflating tires, jump-starts) when needed.
• Assist customers and coworkers and maintain safety practices.
• Adhere to safety procedures and participate in safety activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
