Job summary

Cox Automotive in the USA is seeking a Driver I - Non-DOT to move, stage, and park vehicles on Auction property. You will drive vehicles to and from lots and customer businesses, and operate vehicles through sale lanes under safety rules.

Thursday shifts run 8 am to 2 pm, and the pay rate is $20.37 per hour. This role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to drive manual/automatic transmissions, and the physical stamina to handle long periods of standing and walking.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate vehicles with manual or automatic transmission.
• Comfort with sitting for long periods and walking longer distances.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner.
• Move and park vehicles as directed by supervisor or team leader.
• Assist with basic vehicle operation (e.g., inflate tires, jump start) and report any issues.
• Assist customers and coworkers as needed while maintaining safety.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety programs.
• Occasionally work overtime as required by business needs.
