Job summary

Cox Automotive - Manheim is seeking a Driver I (Non-DOT) to move vehicles and support auction operations. You’ll work on-site moving cars, staging inventory, and ensuring timely placement in lanes with a customer-focused approach.

No prior experience is required; a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record are essential. The role offers an hourly wage and may include incentives or commissions where applicable.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• No previous experience or education is required.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through auction lanes and on grounds following procedures.
• Transport vehicles to designated areas on auction premises and to customer locations.
• Stage, organize and park vehicles as directed by supervisors.
• Assist in locating misplaced vehicles and moving inventory as needed.
• Prepare vehicles for movement (inflate tires, jump-start).
• Communicate vehicle issues to the appropriate teams.
• Provide friendly support to customers and coworkers.
• Follow safety procedures and work overtime when needed.
