Job summary

Cox Automotive in the United States is seeking a Driver I - Non-DOT to perform safe vehicle movement, staging and parking on Auction property, and to drive vehicles to and from sale lanes while following safety rules. The role operates Fridays 8:00am-2:00pm with an hourly pay rate of $15.27.

Overtime may be required based on business needs; benefits include health care, retirement planning and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Safe drivers with a valid license are required.
• Able to sit for long periods and walk long distances.
• Stand, walk, reach, talk and hear regularly.
• Stooping, kneeling, bending and climbing frequently.
• Lift 1–15 pounds.
• Vision includes close, distance, color, depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale days in a safe manner.
• Move vehicles to designated areas on premises and to customer dealerships and businesses.
• Line up and park vehicles as directed and locate lost vehicles.
• Assist with getting vehicles operating when needed.
• Inflate tires and jump-start vehicles if necessary.
• Notify supervisor if a vehicle is inoperative or out of gas.
• Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety activities.
