Beloit Auction & Realty, Inc. is seeking a dependable, hardworking Auction Operations Associate for moving, packing, and offsite operations across Wisconsin and Illinois. This hands-on role requires lifting, outdoor work, and adaptation to varied auction settings.

The position offers an initial training wage of $17.00/hr, with post-training pay ranging from $18.00–$23.00/hr based on skills and performance. Opportunities for advancement and overtime are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in moving, packing, construction, warehouse operations, equipment handling, or general labor preferred.
• Forklift and equipment operation experience preferred.
• Experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is helpful but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand and power tools preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry 50–75 pounds and assist with heavier items using proper equipment and team lifting.
• Willingness to travel to offsite auction locations throughout Wisconsin and Illinois.
• Flexible to work varying schedules, including evenings and Saturdays, depending on auction schedules.

Responsabilités

• Pack, wrap, protect, and prepare furniture, antiques, collectibles, household merchandise, tools, and equipment for transportation.
• Load and unload box trucks, trailers, shipping containers, and company vehicles.
• Assist with estate cleanouts, business liquidations, and property cleanouts across Wisconsin and Illinois.
• Safely move heavy or bulky items and organize merchandise for transport.
• Assist with driving company box trucks between locations when qualified.
• Travel to offsite properties to assist with auction projects.
• Organize and prepare merchandise for photography, cataloging, and online listings.
• Help set up and conduct liquidations, auctions, and specialty auctions.
• Assist with identifying, grouping, and organizing merchandise into lots.
• Prepare auction locations for previews and pickups.
• Assist customers with locating and removing purchased items.
• Help coordinate movement/loading of equipment during auctions.
• Assist with final cleanouts and site cleanup after auctions.
• Receive, unload, inspect, organize incoming equipment and tools.
• Assemble equipment and attachments using hand/power tools.
• Operate forklifts, skid steers, tractors when trained.
• Move and stage merchandise around outdoor yards.
• Assist with photographing equipment for online listings.
