Job summary

America's Auto Auction Columbus Fair in Obetz, OH is seeking a Security Guard to oversee site security operations protecting employees, customers, assets, and facilities during auction days and sale events.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, patrolling grounds, documenting incidents, coordinating with law enforcement, and supporting crowd control. The role is full-time with weekend or second shifts available and offers a competitive hourly rate plus benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good driving record.
• Able to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facility access and ensure secure entry and exit for employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.
• Patrol the property to help prevent theft, vandalism, unauthorized access, and other security concerns.
• Investigate and document security incidents and assist with implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and security partners when needed.
• Maintain accurate security logs, reports, and documentation.
• Support auction sale-day operations by assisting with crowd management, traffic flow, and overall site security.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
