Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking a Lane Leader to coordinate the physical movement of vehicles through the sales lane to the block and parking after auction. You will oversee driver assignments and ensure a smooth flow of traffic during the auction process.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate vehicles with manual or automatic transmissions. Outdoor, fast-paced work and responsibilities for maintaining run lists are included.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement of vehicles through the sales lane to the block and parking.
• Inspect support equipment for proper functioning.
• Conduct presale walks to ensure vehicles are in assigned lanes.
• Respond to customer and dealer inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain run list of vehicles with keys, entries, and number changes.
• Oversee parking of sold and non-sold vehicles.
• Report theft, lot damage, or safety concerns to management.
