Auction.com is seeking an Auction Coordinator I for Knoxville, TN. This part-time role supports live auctions, handles customer interactions, and ensures smooth event execution. You will engage with bidders, manage on-site logistics, and contribute to post-auction documentation in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll work 8–12 hours weekly with travel up to 2 hours to surrounding auctions. Prior customer service and basic tech skills are valued, as is a flexible, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles or events preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and environments.
• Comfortable interacting with bidders and staff in live settings.
• Willingness to travel within the territory and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Co-host and participate in live auctions, interacting with bidders.
• Maintain professionalism with customers and on-site staff.
• Produce auction day processes and manage event resources.
• Act as a subject matter expert on customer resources and processes.
• Handle on-site communications and networking with stakeholders.
• Collect customer information using our software and record transactions.
• Assist with auctioneering and bid tracking for varying asset volumes.
• Prepare customer receipts and event reports.
• Identify and implement process and technology efficiencies.
• Facilitate on-the-job training for event day roles.
