Job summary

Bonhams is seeking responsible, team-oriented part-time Auction Assistants to work at the Marlborough Gallery. This on-call role covers auction support and behind-the-scenes duties, including front desk coverage and handling property in house.

Weekday shifts with evening and weekend work required; schedule flexibility is essential. Ideal candidates will have the ability to lift 35–40 lbs, work well in a team or independently, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to help ensure smooth

• Must be able to lift 35 to 40 lbs and climb a ladder.
• Willingness to work as a team as well as independently.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the gallery for auctions
• Assisting with pickups, previews, and events
• Unpacking, packing, and conducting inventory of property
• Participating in fundamental tasks during auctions
• Assisting with various administrative tasks
