Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking a Professional Development Manager – Attorney Training to lead comprehensive lawyer training programs across the firm. You will collaborate with senior leaders, committees, and stakeholders to enhance curricula and align with firm goals.

The role supports the TACE Committee and Litigation & Trial departments, developing boot camps, retreats, and skills programs while serving as a trusted advisor to GDCs, PGCs, and PGMTs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• J.D. from an accredited law school required.
• Experience as an associate in a relevant department in a large law firm.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a legal or professional services environment.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of cumulative experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement training curricula across practice groups and platforms.
• Prepare agendas, retreats, and communications for the TACE Committee and related leaders.
• Benchmark training programs against peers and manage accreditation/compliance processes.
• Act as strategic project manager for major training initiatives and engage external subject matter experts.
• Support performance evaluations, and assist in recruiting, coaching, and managing staff performance.
• Protect highly sensitive and confidential information.
