Job summary

Latham & Watkins seeks a Professional Development Manager – Attorney Training to lead the design, development, and execution of comprehensive lawyer training programs across the firm. You will collaborate with senior leaders to enhance curricula and support training priorities while advising on resource allocation and strategic goals.

You will support the TACE Committee and Litigation & Trial departments, contributing to boot camps, retreats, and practice-group programs, with hybrid or in-office

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Experience as an associate in a large law firm, preferably.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a legal or professional services environment.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of cumulative experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement training curricula across practice groups and platforms.
• Manage meetings, agendas, and communications for training initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Research training developments, benchmark against peers, and ensure accreditation and compliance.
• Act as strategic project/program manager for major training initiatives and collaborate with external experts.
