Job summary

The Professional Development Manager – Attorney Training at Latham & Watkins leads the design, development, and execution of comprehensive lawyer training programs across the firm, partnering with senior leaders to align curricula with firm goals. This role sits within the Human Capital & Talent team and supports the TACE Committee and GDCs.

Located in New York, Washington DC, Chicago, or Los Angeles, the position offers a hybrid schedule with in-office presence and flexible working options, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
J.D. degree from an accredited law school required.
Experience in a large law firm or professional services environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement lawyer training curricula with the TACE Committee.
Coordinate agendas, retreats, and communications for internal/external audiences.
Benchmark against peers and ensure accreditation/compliance for training programs.
Manage major training initiatives and engage external experts as needed.
Support performance management, recruitment, and coaching within HC&T.
