This 100 percent transactional role targets experienced attorneys with approximately 3+ years of CRE experience, while remaining flexible for senior practitioners who are a strong fit.

The role emphasizes purely transactional work with exposure to lender-side deals and institutional transactions.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Demonstrated ability to independently draft and negotiate key deal documents and manage transactions to closing.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate transaction documents including purchase and sale agreements and leases.
• Support real estate secured financing matters for lender and financial-institution clients, including loan documentation.
• Handle title and survey review, due diligence, and closing coordination for acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
• Assist with real estate development matters, including transactional support through project lifecycle milestones.
• Provide practical, business-oriented counsel to clients and internal teams across multiple concurrent transactions.

A confidential Dallas, Texas law firm is seeking a transactional real estate attorney to support a busy commercial real estate practice serving banks and other institutional clients. This is a 100 percent transactional position focused on sophisticated deal work, with level flexibility for attorneys with approximately 3 or more years of relevant experience, as well as more senior practitioners who are a strong match for the practice.

THE ROLE

• Handle title and survey review, due diligence, and closing coordination for acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
• Assist with real estate development matters as needed, including transactional support through project lifecycle milestones.
• Provide practical, business-oriented counsel to clients and internal teams across multiple concurrent transactions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• At least 3 years of commercial real estate transactional experience (with openness to substantially more experience for the right fit).
• Demonstrated ability to independently draft and negotiate key deal documents and manage transactions to closing.

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

• Strong law firm credentials and deal experience that aligns with lender-side or institutional commercial real estate work.
• Comfort working in a primarily in-office environment.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Billable hour target: 1,900.
