CB Partners, LLC seeks an experienced Attorney Practice Coordinator to provide high-level administrative and litigation support to multiple attorneys in a busy labor and employment practice. The role requires managing competing priorities, court deadlines, ECF filings, and complex legal documents across teams.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of litigation secretary or comparable legal support experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a high-volume legal environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of state and federal courts, court rules, ECF procedures, and administrative agency filings.
  • Advanced, hands-on experience using Best Authority to create TOCs and TOAs.
  • Strong understanding of labor & employment litigation terminology and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate attorney support with internal teams, calendar, billing, and other corporate departments.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed requests and documentation for internal support teams.
  • Coordinate with case teams to prevent duplicate requests and ensure assignments are completed efficiently.
  • Monitor and verify court, agency, and case deadlines and proactively alert attorneys of upcoming requirements.
  • Create and maintain litigation matters within Virtual Binder.
  • Prepare accurate and timely Tables of Contents (TOCs) and Tables of Authorities (TOAs) using Best Authority.
  • Coordinate, finalize, and prepare legal documents for filing with courts and administrative agencies.
  • Perform electronic filings (ECF/e-filing) in accordance with applicable court and agency procedures.
  • Ensure documents are properly and timely filed in NetDocuments.
  • Prepare and submit New Client Matters (NCMs) in accordance with firm standards.
  • Coordinate transcription of audio recordings and other litigation-related materials.
  • Coordinate printing, copying, and assembly of legal documents with office services.
  • Maintain attorney contact information through Outlook and InterAction/CRM systems.
  • Maintain accurate daily task logs and provide updates on projects and assignments.
  • Assist with reviewing and revising client pre-bills as needed.
  • Provide proactive support to attorneys and anticipate practice needs before deadlines arise.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigation secretary who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing competing priorities, attorney requests, case deadlines, court filings, and complex legal documents.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of state and federal court systems, ECF procedures, administrative agencies, and labor & employment litigation, along with advanced experience supporting attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment.

  • Experience with Forte for preparing compliant legal documents and correspondence.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative teams.
