Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution, a Chambers and Legal 500 recognized Am Law style national platform, seeks a mid-level Litigation Associate for its New York, NY office. You will manage day-to-day general commercial litigation matters and work closely with trial lawyers on high-value disputes.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of general commercial litigation experience.
• Strong research and writing skills with a solid academic record.
• Current license to practice law in New York.
• Experience handling pleadings, motions, discovery, and depositions.
• Big law training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day work on general commercial litigation matters in New York state and federal courts.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery requests, and discovery responses across a range of commercial disputes.
• Research complex legal issues and prepare high quality memoranda, briefs, and dispositive and procedural motions.
• Take and defend depositions, including expert witnesses, and participate in motion arguments and court conferences.
• Collaborate directly with partners and senior counsel, gaining client exposure and substantive ownership of key workstreams.

The Role

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a mid level Litigation Associate with:

• 5 to 7 years of general commercial litigation experience in complex business disputes
• Proven experience handling pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and depositions in contested matters
• Current license to practice law in New York and a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Strong research and writing skills with a solid academic record from law school
• Experience litigating in New York state and federal courts, with large law firm training strongly preferred
• $250,000 to $280,000 base salary, depending on experience
• Eligibility for performance based bonus
