A leading international law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its New York litigation practice. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial disputes involving class actions, multidistrict litigation, international arbitration, and internal investigations.

The role offers exposure to complex, high-profile matters and the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibilities within a busy litigation practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters, including class actions and multidistrict litigation.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motion briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and manage discovery, take and defend depositions, and assist with deposition preparation.
• Research and analyze complex legal issues and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Prepare for hearings, depositions, and other litigation proceedings.
• Support matters involving international arbitration and internal investigations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation or dispute resolution.
• Experience working in a large law firm or a similarly demanding litigation practice strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, briefing motions, and preparing for depositions.
• Experience taking and defending depositions and arguing motions is strongly preferred.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Prior clerkship with a federal district court or circuit court judge is a plus.
• Must be admitted and in good standing with the New York Bar.

Compensation

Base Salary: $260,000-$365,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, work location, and other job-related factors. The position also offers bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
