We Are Legal Revolution is seeking a mid level Insurance Defense Associate for its Los Angeles office on a remote basis. The role involves handling insurance defense matters, interfacing with insurers and corporate clients, and taking ownership of files with partner support.

Ideal candidates will have 3–8 years of insurance defense litigation experience, a California bar, and a willingness to maintain a strong in-office presence with at least 3 days per week.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters including general liability, premises and products liability.
• Act as day-to-day point of contact for insurer and corporate clients on assigned files.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and prepare detailed coverage and liability analyses.
• Conduct and defend depositions, attend hearings and conferences, and support trial preparation as needed.
• Collaborate closely with partners on strategy while taking substantive ownership of files appropriate to experience.

The Role

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a mid level Insurance Defense Associate with:

• 3 to 8 years of insurance defense litigation experience from a reputable defense practice
• Background in general liability, premises liability, products liability or labor law defense
• Active bar admission in California
• Stable track record including at least 3 years with the current or most recent firm
• Willingness to maintain a strong in office presence with at least 3 days per week
• $160,000 to $200,000 base salary depending on experience
• Semi annual tiered bonus structure beginning at 1,950 hours plus discretionary year end bonus
