Job summary

SEI Investments Company seeks a licensed attorney to draft and negotiate commercial contracts using SEI templates and standards. You will independently manage routine contract matters, advise stakeholders, and educate internal clients on positions and issues during negotiations.

You will collaborate across legal and business teams to address regulatory changes, manage multiple projects, and support corporate governance and third-party risk management while maintaining organized contract files.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting, negotiating and advising stakeholders with respect to commercial contracts using SEI templates and standards
  • Independently manage routine contract matters and negotiations, seeking guidance on more complex or higher-risk issues as appropriate
  • Educating internal clients with respect to the positions and issues that arise during contractual negotiations
  • Working with internal clients to solve legal, risk and business issues that arise in commercial transactions
  • Understanding and applying regulatory changes to new and existing contracts
  • Managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent projects and transactions
  • Participating in various activities related to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and third-party risk management
  • Populating and maintaining contract files and repositories
  • Assist with the development and refinement of contract templates, playbooks and other legal resources

Job description

What you will do:
