Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Texas bar license to practice law in the state.
• Experience handling civil and criminal matters is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs new case intake and screening, including indictment type and evidence gathering.
• Conducts legal research using various resources.
• Prepares for arraignments, hearings, and other proceedings.
• Negotiates pleas with defense attorneys and counsels defendants on options.
