Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare cases by researching and gathering evidence.
• Advise and facilitate decisions affecting client interests.
• Manage discovery and strategy for court proceedings.
• Draft court filings and legal correspondence.
• Represent the state in district court, usually in jury trials.
• Conduct conferences and negotiate settlements.
• Occasionally represent client agencies in administrative proceedings.
• Travel and overnight stays as needed.
