Job summary

Padgett Law Group, a premier creditors' rights law firm, is hiring a Foreclosure Attorney in New Jersey. The role involves drafting and reviewing documents for second level review, organizing case files, and coordinating with paralegals and assistants as part of a collaborative state team.

Candidates must be admitted in New Jersey with strong organizational and communication skills, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • J.D. licensed in New Jersey and in good standing.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a congenial, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents for second level review of the Supervising Attorney
  • Organize case files, track legal deadlines and coordinate with paralegals and legal assistants on case logistics.
  • Shadow a senior or supervising attorney for appearances in Mediation, Court, and Sheriff’s Sales.
  • Assist in preparation in advance of appearances.
  • Collaborate with members of the state team.
  • Actively participate in weekly state meetings.
  • Engage with Supervising Attorney in a one-on-one weekly meeting.
