Job summary

Padgett Law Group in New Jersey is seeking a Foreclosure Attorney to join our elite creditors' rights team. You will draft and review documents for second-level review, organize case files, and coordinate with paralegals and assistants to manage case logistics.

Shadow senior or supervising attorneys for appearances in mediation, court, and sheriff’s sales; participate in weekly state meetings; collaborate with the state team; and actively engage with Supervising Attorney in weekly one-on-one

Qualifications

• J.D. degree required and license to practice in New Jersey.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review legal documents for second-level review by Supervising Attorney.
• Organize case files, track deadlines, coordinate with paralegals and assistants.
• Shadow a senior or supervising attorney for appearances in Mediation, Court, and Sheriff’s Sales.
• Assist in preparation for appearances and court events.
• Collaborate with state team members on case strategy and logistics.
• Participate in weekly state meetings and engage in weekly one-on-one with Supervising Attorney.

• Organize case files, track legal deadlines and coordinate with paralegals and legal assistants on case logistics.
• Shadow a senior or supervising attorney for appearances in Mediation, Court, and Sheriff’s Sales.
• Assist in preparation in advance of appearances.
• Collaborate with members of the state team.
• Actively participate in weekly state meetings.
• Engage with Supervising Attorney in a one-on-one weekly meeting.
  

Requirements

• J.D., licensed in New Jersey, and in good standing in all jurisdictions
• Ability to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and be adaptable to continual change.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
