We Are Legal Revolution in San Jose seeks a Senior Employment Defense Attorney to lead California matters, shape litigation strategy and own client relationships. The role offers senior-level autonomy, direct client exposure, and a clear path toward partnership within a growing employment litigation practice.

The successful candidate will manage matters from inception to resolution, draft pleadings, handle discovery, depositions, hearings and mediations, and mentor junior attorneys.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar admission in good standing.
• 5–10+ years' legal experience with strong litigation and advocacy skills.
• Experience managing matters with autonomy.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Stable employment history and long-term career commitment.
• Strong academic and professional background.
• Plaintiff-side experience welcomed where meaningful Employment Defense experience is also present.

Responsibilities

• Manage California Employment Defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Develop litigation strategy and advise clients throughout the litigation process.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other substantive legal documents.
• Handle written discovery, depositions, hearings and mediations.
• Take ownership of case strategy and day-to-day litigation management.
• Work directly with clients and develop long-term client relationships.
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the firm's Employment practice.
• Mentor junior attorneys where appropriate.

NEW IN – Senior Employment Defense Attorney | 5–10+ Years | $200K–$300K DOE | Partnership Track | San Jose Hybrid

I'm currently working closely with the hiring team at a well-established, full-service law firm in San Jose that is continuing to grow its Employment Litigation practice. This is an opportunity for an experienced Employment Defense Attorney to take meaningful ownership of California matters, build direct client relationships and work toward partnership within an expanding practice.

Location

• San Jose, California.
• Hybrid working arrangement with approximately three days per week in the office.

Package

• $200,000–$300,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Performance-based bonus opportunities.
• Approximately 1,800 annual billable hours.
