The role focuses on representing employers in complex workplace disputes, handling discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour issues, and class actions, with opportunities to mentor junior

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation experience
• Employment Defense experience strongly preferred
• Strong legal writing, advocacy and case management skills
• Trial and mediation experience advantageous but not essential
• Open to Associate, Senior Attorney, Of Counsel and Partner-level candidates

Responsibilities

• Represent employers and institutional clients in complex workplace disputes and employment-related litigation
• Handle matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, class actions and workplace investigations
• Independently manage litigation matters from initial evaluation through settlement or trial preparation
• Draft and argue substantive motions, manage written discovery and take and defend depositions
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations and settlement negotiations
• Develop litigation strategies and advise clients directly on employment disputes and legal exposure
• Collaborate with experienced Partners and contribute to the continued growth of the practice
• Mentor junior attorneys and develop client relationships as you progress into senior positions

What They're Looking For:

• Ideally 3+ years of litigation experience
• Employment Defense experience strongly preferred
• Strong legal writing, advocacy and case management skills
• Trial and mediation experience advantageous but not essential

Salary & Benefits:

• Base Salary: Up to $225,000 depending on experience and seniority
• Quarterly Bonuses – Performance-based earning opportunities
• Billable Expectation: Approximately 1,950 hours annually
