Innovative Driven is seeking a full-time Senior Attorney to join a well-established mid-size Pacific Northwest law firm representing clients in a wide range of matters. The Employment Law Attorney provides counsel on employment-related matters, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.

This role supports the organization by mitigating legal risk, managing employment disputes, advising on workplace policies, and partnering with Human Resources and business leaders on employee

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in OR and WA.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in employment or labor law.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Experience conducting investigations and handling employment-related disputes.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice regarding employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Advise leadership and HR on employee relations matters, including discipline, performance management, accommodations, investigations, and terminations.
  • Ensure compliance with employment-related laws.
  • Conduct and oversee workplace investigations involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other employee complaints.
  • Draft, review, and update employment policies, handbooks, agreements, and legal documentation.
  • Manage employment-related litigation, administrative charges, and agency responses.
  • Partner with HR to develop training programs on workplace compliance and legal requirements.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting employment practices.
  • Support organizational initiatives related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and workplace compliance.

The Employment Law Attorney provides legal counsel and guidance on employment-related matters, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. Key Responsibilities
