Thomson Reuters seeks an Attorney Editor to provide world-class annotated statutory and regulatory information for legal professionals. You will perform legal research, write analyses, and edit content across Westlaw, ProView, and print products.

Responsibilities include creating editorial enhancements, classifying information with headnotes, and ensuring accuracy of statutory texts while meeting publishing schedules in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

J.D. degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
Strong legal research and analytical skills.
Exceptional editorial judgment and attention to detail.
Ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and communicate complex legal material.
Understanding of editorial production process and requirements.
Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with all contacts, both in and outside Thomson Reuters.

Responsibilities

Create editorial enhancements to help customers understand the context and developments of the law.
Classify legal information in the form of headnotes and other text; maintain up-to-date statutory text by analyzing enacted legislation.
Review content rendered as print or electronic products for completeness and accuracy.
Meet editorial publishing schedules and quality standards; follow editorial style and standards for the department and jurisdictions.
