SEI is seeking an Attorney-Director to join its Asset Management Legal team to provide practical legal and regulatory support for SEI’s asset management business. This role focuses on the SEC-registered fund complex and broader platform evolution, advising on design, governance, distribution, and regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 7–10 years of meaningful experience advising asset management participants such as registered funds, investment advisers, or broker-dealers.
• Strong working knowledge of federal securities laws and regulations applicable to registered investment products and advisory businesses.
• Ability to independently analyze complex legal and regulatory issues and deliver practical, business-aligned advice.
• Excellent legal research, drafting, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise on the design, launch, operation, governance, and distribution of investment products and advisory operations.
• Counsel product and distribution teams on regulatory requirements and disclosures.
• Support fund governance, boards, and committees.
• Provide practical guidance balancing regulatory requirements with commercial objectives.
