This is a contract, as needed, remote position. Onsite arrangements could be made for part time in Angleton. Role is for an Attorney at Law practicing in the following counties: Harris, Brazoria, Galveston, Matagorda, and Fort Bend, TX. The Attorney at Law will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, representing clients in legal proceedings, and negotiating on behalf of clients. Day-to-day tasks include drafting legal documents, attending court hearings, and advising clients on legal matters, with a focus on family and probate law.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Family Law, Probate Law, and Civil Law
• Experience in providing Legal Advice and conducting Research
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing
