Job summary

Protouch Staffing seeks an associate attorney for our Indianapolis Assessment Recovery group, handling matters in real property litigation, money judgments, bankruptcy, and foreclosure with substantial client contact and public speaking.

Must be Indiana admitted, with 0–5 years’ relevant experience, proficient with Windows and legal software, and able to manage a diverse caseload, deadlines, and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Indiana.
• 0–5 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law.
• Ability to handle diverse case loads.
• Excellent personal skills and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage high project load and administrative staff.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge and independently handle all assigned cases, assigned or personally originated, in a diverse case load.
• Chair client corporate meetings.
• Ability to manage electronic task list and billing.
• Maintain strong relationships by advising clients on the status of cases.
• Draft complaints and answers, discovery, witness preparation, depositions, motions, and trial prep and conduct.

This position regularly handles matters related to assessment recovery, money judgments, bankruptcy, judgment execution, foreclosure, and other real property issues. Position Description

• Must be admitted to practice law in Indiana
• 0-5 years of relevant litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or in representing governmental organizations in litigation based civil matters
• Prior work experience must demonstrate dedication and hard work
• Prior experience using a Microsoft operating system and other sophisticated software
• Must be available during business hours, as well as some evenings and weekends for client meetings
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent personal skills
